Nikolaus Harnoncourt's production of "Idomeneo" at the styriarte was THE sensation of 2008. In December 2009, Felix Breisach's recording of this production was released on double-DVD. It marks the beginning of "styriarte Festival Edition", which will be home to further releases in the future.
The Idomeneo-DVDs are sold in a special package together with a beautiful and informative book including many previously unreleased behind-the-scenes and on-stage-pictures and texts and essays in both German and English language.
