Susanne Ansorg

Susanne Ansorg studied Germanistik, Musicology and Pedagogy of Music at the University of Leipzig, medieval string instruments at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis (Basle).
She plays with several ensembles (among them Sequentia, Belladonna and Sarband) and performs all over Europe, in Canada, the USA, Brasil, Japan and Australia.
At the same time, she is the director of „montalbâne“, the most innovative festival for medieval music in Europe.
