At styriarte 2007 Nikolaus Harnoncourt conducted Beethoven's “Mass in C major” and his symphony no. 5. This production is now available in the second edition of styriarte festival edition. A very informative DVD-book with a great photo series (taken by Werner Kmetitsch) is added to the double DVD. The DVDs show the recording of the concert at the Helmut-List-Halle as well as the “making of” by Günter Schilhan, filmed at the rehearsals of the 5th symphony, which documents Harnoncourt´s fascinating work (with German, English and Spanish subtitles).
