The central production of styriarte 2010, Smetana's cycle of "My Fatherland", realized with the Chamber Orchestra of Europe conducted by Nikolaus Harnoncourt, is the content of the third styriarte festival edition.

A very informative DVD-book with a great photo series (taken by Werner Kmetitsch) is added to the double DVD. The DVDs show the recording of the concert at the Helmut-List-Halle as well as the “making of” by Günter Schilhan, filmed at the rehearsals of “Má vlast”, which documents Harnoncourt´s fascinating work (with German and English subtitles).
