When one hears the name Johann Sebastian Bach, one thinks naturally first and foremost of the master of German music, of the fugue and cantata maestro. If we take a closer look, however, we will see that he was also a cheerful father of a large family, who was not above writing music for coffee house concerts. Thomas Höft, along with Lucia Froihofer’s Neue Hofkapelle Graz, brings the story of Papa Bach and his pub garden music alive for listeners age six and up.
