The frog turns into the handsome prince, Cinderella becomes the ravishing belle of the ball. Transformations are as much part of fairy tales as metamorphoses are a part of ancient myths. Johannes Silberschneider has selected the most beautiful stories of transformations from the Grimms’ fairy tales. Christoph Bielefeld, solo harpist of the Bruckner Orchester Linz, from Munich, wraps these stories in the magical sound of fairy tale romanticism together with his trio.
