Im Gebirgshare on facebook styriarte outing to the Gesäuse
Meeting point: Admont, railway station
Hike on the “Johnsbach Almrunde” with music
We want to find out the truth again: We set out on our search for happiness in the only Styrian national park, where the narrowness of the Gesäuse – formed by the turbulent river Enns – unites with the vastness of mountain pastures to create a unique spectacle of nature. In short: We walk to the end of the world in two sessions in the early morning and two sessions in the mild atmosphere of the evening. The music that is played along the way celebrates the beauty of our mountains. The trails are not difficult, but they require stamina. Our guests will receive packed lunches for the hike. We meet in front of Admont Abbey from where we head out by bus and then by foot on our pursuit of happiness. In almost any weather.
The bus transfer from Admont to Johnsbach and a Bschoadpackerl are included in the ticket price.
Walking time: approx. 2.5 hours on easy hiking trails
Distance: 9 km and 600 meters altitude
Duration of the event: approx. 5.5 hours
Hiking equipment and rain gear are required, the hike takes place in all kinds of weather!
