Tangos by Astor Piazzolla
Marcelo Nisinman: Hombre Tango
Osvaldo Tarantino/Marcelo Nisinman: Ciudad Triste etc.
On 4 July 1992, the inventor of the “New Tango”, Astor Piazzolla, died in Buenos Aires. 25 years later, his compatriot Marcelo Nisinman lets the nimbus of the great Piazzolla light up again at the styriarte – in his own arrangements of Piazzolla’s most famous tangos. In a trio with guitar and bass, Nisinman unfolds the charisma of a typical master of the bandoneon – introverted and broody, then passionate and fiery. His own tangos make the audience almost jump out of their seats. But there is still enough time to dance after the concert: brave dancers have the chance to demonstrate their tango skills in the styriarte “ballroom”.
