A tribute to a great chansonnier

Eddie Luis verneigt sich vor dem großen Reinhard Mey alias „Frédéric Mey“. Der geborene Berliner wurde zum Inbegriff des modernen Chansoniers. „Ich wollte wie Orpheus singen“ – so hießen sein erstes Chanson, seine erste LP und seine erste Textsammlung in Buchform. Fast sechzig Jahre ist das nun her – sechs Jahrzehnte, in denen er klug und bewegend sang und dichtete. Die Menschen verstanden ihn, weil er sie und ihren Alltag verstand.
