We are the Steirische Kulturveranstaltungen GmbH, the legal body of “styriarte”. Our principal place of business is at Sackstraße 17, 8010 Graz and we are registered at “Handelsregister am LG für ZRS Graz” by the number FN 38604 X. General Manager Mathis Huber is responsible for the content of this website. The content is monitored and reviewed regularly by the styriarte. Whilst we endeavour to ensure that the information on the website is correct and up to date, such information is provided ‘as is’ and we make no representation, endorsement or warranty as to its accuracy or completeness.
Terms and Conditions
By accessing any part of the Website you shall be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions in full. They also apply to all our events (styriarte, PSALM, recreation and Meerschein). If you breach any of these terms and conditions, your permission to use the website automatically terminates and you must immediately destroy any downloaded or printed extracts from the website. styriarte reserves the right to claim damages if necessary.
The copyright and other intellectual property rights in and to all images, graphics, text, films and videos and other material or content on, or part of the website are owned by us. You may not make a copy in whole or in part of the website information nor disseminate it nor put it at the disposal of a third party for any purpose without our prior written consent. (§18a UrhG online-Nutzung) If you breach any of these terms and conditions, legal action will be taken. (e.g. trademark law, copyright, competiton law)
Personal Data and Privacy Statement
Our guiding principle is to protect personal data. We undertake to maintain your privacy within the framework of the relevant Austrian and EU data protection law (DSGVO). We will not pass on personal data such as name, phone or fax number to any third party.
You may not use the styriarte, PSALM, recreation or Meerschein logos without our prior written consent.
Users can subscribe to our Newsletter and also convey information by text or link on the styriarte website. We will not be liable for mistakes made during the process of transferring said information nor for its content. By forwarding texts or links to the styriarte you agree to the terms and conditions concerning usage of content by the styriarte and our partners. Styriarte and partners maintain the right to copy, distribute, change, publish or delete any conveyed information regardless of its original intended use (§18a UrhG online Nutzung). Texts, graphics or pictures that were not specifically requested by us do not have to be confirmed or returned digitally regardless of whether they were used or not. The styriarte website automatically collects data that does not pertain to individual persons. This may include information concerning number of users, average session length and pages accessed. This information is a resource for continuous improvement in our internet service.
Ticket sales for the styriarte festival 2019 start on November 24, 2018 at 10 am in our webshop and at our ticket centre. Reservations and ticket sales per post, fax or email are processed in order of arrival. Members of the organisation “Freunde & Förderer der styriarte“ take priority for advance sales of styriarte tickets. Should certain tickets be marked “currently not available“, it is possible to be put on a waiting list. Contact the styriarte ticket centre (+43 316 825 000) for details.
At our ticket centre you can pay by cash, bank transaction, credit card (VISA, Diners Club, Eurocard/Mastercard) or debit card.
In our webshop you can pay by credit card (VISA, Diners Club, Eurocard/Mastercard) or via our online payment processing service. Payment by direct debit via SOFORT AG is possible for the following countries: Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, Italy, France, Spain, Poland and the Netherlands. Payment by credit card on the styriarte website is via Wirecard CEE. Secure Socket Layer is used during the credit card payment procedure on the styriarte website. Encrypted data transmission ensures that customer data cannot be accessed by a third party.
The concert box office opens an hour before the concert. Tickets reserved in advance may be collected and payed for by cash, credit or debit card. Tickets purchased by telephone can be paid for by credit card via the payment service provider PayUnity.
Pick up / sending of your tickets
You can pick up your tickets at our ticket centre or at the concert box office, which opens one hour before the start of the concert. Of course, we are also happy to send you your tickets by registered mail (postage 4 euros). To ensure that your tickets arrive on time, we only offer this service until 10 days before the event.
Return of tickets
If you cannot attend a concert for any reason, we will exchange your ticket for another ticket or a voucher up until one day before the event. The voucher is valid indefinitely.
On the day of the concert we will take your tickets on commission. Your tickets will be offered for sale as soon as all other tickets of the same category have been sold. For this service we retain 10% of the ticket price or at least a processing fee of 5 euros.
We cannot refund prepaid tickets at the concert box office.
styriarte reserves the right to direct ticket holders to a seat other than the one purchased if, for safety or organizational reasons, the seat or standing space purchased cannot be accessed / used. The ticket holder will be offered a seat in the same price category or in the next higher price category.
Reductions and Subscriptions:
Ö1 club members: 10% discount on two tickets per concert (certain concerts only)
Standard subscribers: 10% discount on two tickets per concert (certain concerts only)

U 27: Young people aged 26 or under receive a 50% discount on tickets for every concert.
Last-minute-seat subscription: There are two options for this type of subscription:
8 concerts for EUR 96 and 5 concerts for EUR 72.

U27: Young people aged 26 or under receive a 50% discount on tickets and subscriptions. Tickets are also on sale to under-27s at 5 euros 15 minutes before the start of the performance (subject to availability).
Subscribers to the series “GROSSES ORCHESTER GRAZ”: 10% discount on subscriptions to the “recreationBAROCK” series.
Ö1 club members: 10% discount on two tickets per concert
U 27: Young people aged 26 or under receive a -50% discount on tickets for every concert.

U27: Young people aged 26 or under receive a 50% discount on tickets and subscriptions.
“Hunger auf Kunst & Kultur“: If tickets are still available, holders of this pass can purchase them at the concert box office on presentation of their “Hunger auf Kunst und Kultur” pass and ID.
Our vouchers are valid indefinitely and can be used for all our performances (styriarte, PSALM, recreation, Meerschein Konzerte) and for our merchandise (DVDs, books, CDs, styriarte umbrellas). Vouchers can be issued for any amount. We will gladly gift wrap your vouchers or tickets free of charge. However, we would appreciate a donation of 5 euros in support of the initiative “Hunger auf Kunst und Kultur” (Hungry for Art and Culture).
Concert starts / Latecomers
If you arrive late, we will try to offer you an alternative seat. We will personally accompany you to the seat during applause or between parts of the programme. After the interval, you can move to the seat you originally purchased.
Please understand that this is not possible when concerts are being recorded or if the acoustics of the venue are particularly sensitive.
Changes of the programme or the cast
Changes to the programme or the cast are sometimes unavoidable. We will immediately inform you about any changes of this kind via our service email and on our website. Such changes do not entitle you to a refund.
The personal data we need to collect to process your enquiries, reservations or orders will not be passed on to any third party. When we save your personal data, it enables you to book tickets quickly and easily without having to enter your data every single time.
Picture and sound recordings
No type of recording, be it film, photo, video or sound, is permitted during styriarte rehearsals and concerts due to the infringement of copyright and personal rights. Illegal recordings may not be used in any way whatsoever. Styriarte reserves the right to take legal measures.
Occasionally a professional camera team, hired by styriarte, will film or photograph during concerts. On purchase of a ticket, patrons automatically give their permission for any such recording in which they may be visible or audible to be used by styriarte. Styriarte reserves the right to make public any such recording in whole or in part, in the original or in modified form, without offering recompense, and without being held liable for infringement of copyright or personal rights regulations.
styriarte may use such a recording for non-commercial and commercial purposes (in particular advertising). Names of persons will not be disclosed.
