Anna Dmitrieva

The violinist, who trained in her home city of St. Petersburg, Cologne and Salzburg, founded the piano trio Alterna, with which she won 2nd prize and a Beethoven Prize at the "Beethoven in his time" competition in Siegburg in May 2021. She has recorded numerous CDs for the renowned labels Pentatone, Outhere and Alpha.

Anna is quickly developing her career as a HIP performer and becoming a frequently asked guest in many ensembles in Europe. Highlights of this coming season include, concertmaster/solist with Bremen Barockorchester, Concerto Köln and Ensemble 1700. Recent seasons have seen her perform with Cordevento, La Chapelle Harmonique, Compagna di Punto, Altera Pars and others.

At the end of 2020 Anna co-founded a piano trio Alterna and in May 2021 they won 2nd prize and a Beethoven prize at the competition “Beethoven in his time” in Siegburg (Germany).She is also a permanent member of Jacquard Quartet and Kairos Orchestra. With her ensemble Ludus Instrumentalis she was awarded 1st Prize at Berliner-Bach Wettbewerb as well as in the Förderpreis Alte Musik in Saarbrücken and Gebrüder Graun Wettbewerb in Bad Liebenwerda  In 2016 she was Semifinalist at International baroque music competition Concours Corneille. She has recorded numerous CD’s under the prestigious labels of Pentatone, Outhere and Alpha.

Anna Dmitrieva (1987) graduated from St.Petersburg Conservatory under the tutalige of T.Liberova, P.Popov, I.Dzektzer.  She studied chamber music and baroque violin in Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln studying with A.Spiri, H.Schoneweg, R.Gwilt, and K.Junghänel. With her group Ludus Instrumentalis she made a post graduate course in Mozarteum Salzburg with R.Goebel.

Anna plays the Camillo Camille violin, built in 1743.
