Christine Roider loves and lives the versatility of her profession: as a cello teacher and music mediator, as a chamber musician in the Trio Artio and as a member of the cello quartet cellharmonics, as well as an orchestral musician in renowned orchestras.
Christine Roider received her cello education from Michael Sanderling at the Musikhochschule Frankfurt am Main and from Reinhard Latzko at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. Her studies in instrumental pedagogy in Vienna with Bruno Weinmeister complemented her qualifications.
As a sought-after chamber and orchestral musician, Christine Roider regularly appears at various festivals. She has performed at the Beethovenfest Bonn, the Rheingau Music Festival, the Zermatt Festival, the Gstaad Menuhin Festival, the Bregenz Festival, the Carinthian Summer Festival and the Salzburg Festival. She has performed as a soloist at the Gewandhaus Leipzig and the Vienna Konzerthaus.
She is also a regular guest with the Vienna Symphony Orchestra and the ORF Radio Symphony Orchestra.
In addition to her concert activities, Christine Roider is passionate about teaching. She has been teaching at the Musikum der Stadt Salzburg since 2021 and also works as an assistant to Prof Reinhard Latzko at the Vienna University of Music.
She regularly works with renowned directors and music educators on productions for Jeunesse Austria, the Wiener Konzerthaus, the Wiener Musikverein and the Philharmonie Luxembourg.
