Ten voices, one ensemble
Ten voices, one ensemble, one shared vision of sound: that is Avocalo. Born out of a shared love of a cappella singing, the ensemble has evolved through seven years of intensive musical collaboration. Its varied repertoire ranges from classical and folk music to pop and jazz.
The members' professional backgrounds are as diverse as the programme. Everything is represented, from physics to aerospace engineering to dramaturgy, united by a passion for making music together.
In February 2025, the ensemble performed its third major concert at the Schutzengelkirche in Graz, under the direction of Maria Leitgab and Felicitas Spörk. Their exquisite a cappella sound is sure to captivate and relax you!
