For Christiane Willms, storytelling is the art of touching people from mouth to ear. When, in the magic of the moment, storytelling becomes the key to hidden spaces and unknown lands within that you may never have entered before, the unheard-of happens. When I tell stories, I take people on a journey, each on their own - and at the same time everyone shares in the experience," says the storyteller, whose tales and stories are indeed inextricably linked to her personal experience of travelling and living in Africa, Asia and the Middle East.
Christiane Willms is a professional storyteller and narrator with many years of stage experience. She has been awarded the Silver Fairy Tale Storyteller Award and is a storyteller and narrator for the European Fairy Tale Society. As a qualified narrator and voice coach, she works for the stage and recording studios and gives popular storytelling seminars. She is a member of the Academy for Spoken Word and the German narrator of the picture book DVDs with the stories of Felix the travelling cuddly bunny (author: Annette Langen). Her performances have taken her all over Germany, as well as to France, Romania, South Africa and Israel.
Since March 2021 she is professor for speech and speech design at the University of Music and Dramatic Arts in Graz.
