folk and world musician

Daniel Fuchsberger, born in 1979, grew up in Koppl near Salzburg, studied jazz percussion and jazz arrangement and composition at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz, but has always played and continues to play applied folk music on suitable instruments (in case of doubt double bass, valve trombone and percussion) (for about 20 years). However, in addition to the study of life in general and Mexican marimba in particular, double guitar and percussion are the main focus of his current endeavours.

In addition to a teaching position (for Mexican marimba) at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz, he lives his life as a freelance musician in the folk and world music to crossover area (for example with the Spafudlan and Crossfiedler, as an accompanying guitarist for Agnes Palmisano, with Mexican marimba soloists as well as with many other world and provincial musicians.
