Georg Neureiter
With the current programme, Georg Neureiter wraps his audience in cosy folk sound. The guitar in alternative moods serves as a colourfully primed painting ground for flowing, driving soundscapes. Neureiter's wordplay imbues even the saddest heartbreak song with a certain amount of tragicomedy. For example, his last single "I want you back again" started with the words: "I found a bar of chocolate and ate all by myself" and landed in the domestic charts for six weeks.

Georg Neureiter currently resides in Graz. He has played solo concerts as a guitar player and singer since his 18th birthday. Georg has also composed music since the age of 16, and these self-composed songs are what you will find him playing most often.
His solo programm always strives for the most interesting performance possible. To do this, he incorporates the use of electronics, looping and additional instruments.
Familiar guitar tunes turn into big, triby, danceable soundscapes by layering bass lines and voice loops one over another. His latest single, „I want you back again“, rotated in the local charts for 6 weeks. He is currently working on new songs for his upcoming record.
