flexible and versatile voice
Heini Ernamo is fascinated by early music, particularly baroque. The versatile singer, whose voice is ideally suited to both baroque and contemporary music, studied baroque music at Novia University of Applied Sciences in Vaasa and music education at the University of Turku. Heini has participated in numerous summer programmes for early music in Kälviä, Finland, and has completed a master's programme in early music at the Sibelius Academy. She is a founding member of the Uoma Vocal Ensemble, which specialises in Renaissance music. She is also a member of the Kamarikuoro Key Ensemble in Turku, the only professional chamber choir in Finland. She also sings with the Vocis study choir at the Sibelius Academy. She sang the role of first soprano in a performance of Bach's Mass in B minor by the Key Ensemble, performed as a soloist in Purcell's Hail, Bright Cecilia, and appeared in Cavalleria Rusticana & I Pagliacci at the Åbo Svenska Teater in Turku.
