Finn with a love of baroque music

Hailing from Kuopio, the Finn studied at the Sibelius Academy, where she obtained a Master's degree in Church Music, specialising in choral conducting. In 2022, she enrolled at Novia University of Applied Sciences in Vaasa, where she focuses on training her voice in baroque music. She directs the Västnyländska Kammarkör in Finland and founded the vocal ensemble Vox Aroni, which she also directs. As a soloist, she has performed a wide range of sacred music, including works by Cozzolani, Vivaldi and Pergolesi. She has also appeared in several opera roles, including Melissa in Caccini's ‘La liberazione di Ruggiero’.

She has taken inspiration from Monica Groop and Knut Schoch in masterclasses in baroque singing.
