Paula La Loggia Haeni is part of a young, cross-disciplinary music scene that consciously dissolves artistic boundaries. A specialist in bass and contrabass clarinet, she combines contemporary music, electronics, improvisation, and performance to create multifaceted sonic and stage experiences. Active in international collectives, she teaches in Bern and develops transdisciplinary projects at the intersection of sound, space, and installation.

Paula Haeni is part of a young generation of musicians who are breaking down genre boundaries and exploring new paths. She engages deeply with electronic and contemporary music, blending these influences with improvisation and performative elements, composes and works with installations. Her focus lies primarily on low clarinets, placing the bass and contrabass clarinet at the center of attention and exploring the full range of these unique instruments.

Contemporary and transdisciplinary projects are at the heart of her artistic work. She is a member of the latenz ensemble, the Insub Meta Orchestra, and Blau Salvatge. In addition to her freelance activities, Paula La Loggia Haeni teaches at the Bern University of Arts. She also organizes, oversees, and manages numerous projects.

In the first half of 2024, she spent time in Paris as part of a studio residency awarded by the Aargau Kuratorium. In 2025, she was a fellow of the SKK and spend a four months residency working in Belgrade.
