The finest sense of sound and artistic mastery characterise the interplay of this sworn quartet, which is made up of established soloists and chamber musicians. With their almost inexhaustible palette of colours, they celebrate a symbiosis of classical and jazz, of pop and contemporary music.

“Typical Wolfgang!” How often must Mozart’s wife Constanze have thought  this when her husband started composing another free piece for his clarinet friends, instead of earning money. “Typical Wolfgang!” is also the motto of the Vienna Clarinet Connection when they link up Mozart’s clarinet ensemble pieces to the nightclubs of Buenos Aires, to the ballerinas of Saint Petersburg and to contemporary Austrian music.

The performance lasts 60-70 minutes without an interval.
