Selina Ott

Trompete

Selina Ott began her musical education on the piano, but soon discovered her love for the trumpet. The exceptional talent has already played her way through numerous orchestras and big halls and won the Opus Klassik Preis 2021 for her debut album “Trumpet Concertos”.

Maria Kubizek

Violin

The violinist studied in Vienna, Salzburg and London and was particularly influenced by Nikolaus Harnoncourt. As a concertmaster and soloist, Maria Kubizek has been active with a wide variety of orchestras and formations, drawing her inspiration from projects that go beyond the normal concert setting.

Orchestra

Recreation is special in many ways: consisting of musicians whose nationalities range from Japan to Venezuela, most of the members received part of their training in Graz. After its formation in 2002, the collective played unique halls such as the Alte Oper Frankfurt and worked with outstanding conductors.

It is always a good idea to celebrate New Year with Haydn.

Following on from the video production of the first two Paris Symphonies in January 21, we present Part 2 live in January 22. Maria Kubizek is the queen on the first violin, since this is all about the Austrian queen on the French throne: Marie-Antoinette loved Haydn’s Symphony No. 85 so much that it was christened “La Reine”. Before the symphony, another queen will shine: dazzling young trumpet player Selina Ott.
