Tickets and Information

Ticket sales for the styriarte festival 2019 start on November 24, 2018 at 10 am in our webshop and at our ticket centre in Palais Attems, Sackstraße 17. Ticket centre opening hours are Monday to Friday from 10 am to 6 pm and Saturday (only during the festival) from 10 am to 5 pm. We look forward to your visit.

You can also reserve tickets by phone, email or fax or our order form (included in our brochure) or buy your tickets directly in our webshop.

At our ticket centre you can pay by cash, bank transaction, credit card (VISA, Diners Club, Eurocard/Mastercard) or debit card. In our webshop you can pay by credit card (VISA, Diners Club, Eurocard/Mastercard) or via our online payment processing service. At the concert box office you can also pay by credit or debit card.

Our ticket centre is located on the ground floor of Palais Attems, Sackstraße 17. The stop for trams no. 4 and 5, Schloßbergplatz, is directly in front of the building. If you come by car, you can park in the short-term parking zone in the surrounding area or in the parking garages at Mariahilferplatz, Kunsthaus or Kastner&Öhler department store.

Reductions and Subscriptions

  • styriarte:
    Ö1 club members: 10% discount on two tickets per concert (certain concerts only)
    Standard subscribers: 10% discount on two tickets per concert (certain concerts only)
    If you would like to find out which concerts these discounts are available for, please have a look at our overview or give us a call on +43 316 825 000.
    U 27: Young people aged 26 or under receive a 50% discount on tickets for every concert.
    Last-minute-seat subscription: There are two options for this type of subscription:
    8 concerts for EUR 96 and 5 concerts for EUR 72.

  • recreation:
    U27: Young people aged 26 or under receive a 50% discount on tickets and subscriptions. Tickets are also on sale to under-27s at 5 euros 15 minutes before the start of the performance (subject to availability).
    Subscribers to the series “GROSSES ORCHESTER GRAZ”:  10% discount on subscriptions to the “recreationBAROCK” series.
  • Psalm:
    Ö1 club members: 10% discount on two tickets per concert
    U 27: Young people aged 26 or under receive a -50% discount on tickets for every concert.
  • Meerschein Konzerte:
    U27: Young people aged 26 or under receive a 50% discount on tickets and subscriptions.

“Hunger auf Kunst & Kultur“: If tickets are still available, holders of this pass can purchase them at the concert box office on presentation of their “Hunger auf Kunst und Kultur” pass and ID.

How do I get my tickets?

You can pick up your tickets at our ticket centre or at the concert box office, which opens one hour before the start of the concert. Of course we are also happy to send you your tickets by registered mail (postage 4 euros). To ensure that your tickets arrive on time, we only offer this service until 10 days before the event.

Tickets at the concert box office

We open our concert box office one hour before the start of the performance. Here you can either purchase tickets or pick up tickets you reserved in advance. During the interval we are happy to provide information about the festival and offer you tickets for upcoming events.

What happens if I can’t attend an event?

If you can’t attend a concert for any reason, we will exchange your ticket for another ticket or a voucher up until one day before the event. The voucher is valid indefinitely.
On the day of the concert we will take your tickets on commission. Your tickets will be offered for sale as soon as all other tickets of the same category have been sold. For this service we retain 10% of the ticket price or at least a processing fee of 5 euros.
We cannot take back prepaid tickets at the concert box office.

The concert I want to see is sold out

If a concert you would like to attend is already sold out, please do not hesitate to call us on +43 316 825 000. We will be happy to put you on the waiting list and will contact you as soon as a ticket becomes available.

Ticket Loss and Replacement

If you have lost your tickets or want to pass them on to friends at short notice, we will reprint your tickets free of charge. Please give us a call on +43 316 825 000 and we will prepare your replacement tickets to be picked up at the concert box office.


Always a great gift!
Our vouchers are valid indefinitely and can be used for all our performances (styriarte, PSALM, recreation, Meerschein Konzerte) and for our merchandise (DVDs, books, CDs, styriarte umbrellas). Vouchers can be issued for any amount. We will gladly gift wrap your vouchers or tickets free of charge. However, we would appreciate a donation of 5 euros in support of the initiative “Hunger auf Kunst und Kultur” (Hungry for Art and Culture).

What if I’m late for a concert?

If you arrive late, we will try to offer you an alternative seat. We will personally accompany you to the seat during applause or between parts of the programme. After the interval, you can move to the seat you originally purchased.

Please understand that this is not possible when concerts are being recorded or if the acoustics of the venue are particularly sensitive.


If you come by car, you can purchase tickets at a reduced rate for the following parking garages at the concert box offices:

Contipark at Andreas-Hofer-Platz: 6pm to 7pm: 2 euros / 7pm to 7am: 4 euros (pay at the machine)
WiPark garage at Mariahilferplatz (4.30 pm to 2am): 5 euros (ask us for more information)
Citygarage Weitzer at Entenplatz (4 pm to 7.59am): 1.50 euros (ask us for more information)

Please note: You can only get the reduced rate if you take a ticket on entering the parking garage, not if you enter using your credit card.

For Helmut List Halle please use the large parking lot opposite and at the side of the venue,  run by Grazer Parkraumservice. You have to purchase a ticket (3 euros) on entering the parking area.

Helmut List Halle can also be reached by public transport (bus no. 85). Our staff members at the taxi-sharing counter will be happy to inform you about the bus schedule.

Shuttle Bus service

For events at venues outside Graz we offer a shuttle bus service. The bus leaves from the side of Graz Opera House (Franz-Graf-Allee) and returns to Graz after the concert.

Please reserve seats at the ticket centre where we will gladly inform you about schedules and fees (+43 316 825 000).

Take the bus to the styriarte

For certain performances at weekends during the festival we organise buses for visitors from outside Graz.

Take the ÖBB to the styriarte

Enjoy a ride on ÖBB trains to Graz without having to worry about traffic or parking. Take the Railjet from Vienna, for example, or the S-Bahn Steiermark from all over Styria, to ensure a fast and comfortable journey to and from our Styrian capital. Make use of the great offer and travel economy class from Vienna to Graz for only 9 euros or first class for 19 euros. Go to or download the ÖBB app to book your tickets easily and quickly.

Take the bus to recreation’s Christmas concert

Buses will be organised to pick up ticket holders in certain parts of Styria and Carinthia for the concert “Wiener Weihnachten” at Stefaniensaal in Graz on December 20, 2017. For more information click here.

Taxi sharing

Our taxi partner 878 will take you home after the concert for 6 euros within the city of Graz. Please sign up for this service at the taxi-sharing counter. While you are enjoying the concert, we will arrange your ride home. Please understand that we cannot guarantee a certain seat (e.g. the front passenger seat) in the taxi for you. Of course, we can also order a private taxi for you at the regular fee.

Service for visitors with health issues or impairments

We always try our best to ensure accessibility for all our venues. If you need our help accessing any of the concert halls, feel free to call our ticket centre (+43 316 825 000). A staff member will call you back and arrange everything for you.

Service Email and newsletter

To make your experience even more enjoyable, shortly before the concert we will send you a service email with all important information, such as directions to the venue, refreshments during the interval or any changes to the programme. For this purpose, please give us your email address.

Our monthly newsletter provides you with the latest news about our programme. Please subscribe to our newsletter on our homepage if you wish to receive it. We will also keep you updated on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Follow us!

Changes to the programme or the cast

Changes to the programme or the cast are sometimes unavoidable. We will immediately inform you about any changes of this kind via our service email and on our website. Such changes do not entitle you to a refund.

Exchanging of recreation subscription tickets

If you are unable to attend a concert of your subscription cycle, we will exchange your subscription ticket at our ticket centre for another concert ticket for the current season.

Renewing of recreation-subscriptions

As we are confident that you will be fully satisfied with the quality of our programme each season, we assume that you will want to keep your subscription. Therefore, we will automatically renew your subscription for the next season. If you change your mind, you can cancel your subscription by a given deadline, which is usually around the middle of June. We will inform you in writing of the exact date.
