performance artist and acrobat

Evilyn Frantic works as a performance artist. She is Sami, born in Finland, lives in Berlin and specialises in comedy, moderation, side show and burlesque show interludes.

Most recently she performed at the Volkstheater Vienna in "52 Jokers" by Beth B, to which she herself contributed some parts of the work as author, and before that in "Apollon Musagète" and "TANZ", two performance pieces by choreographer Florentina Holzinger, in whose ensemble she regularly appears on stages such as the Volksbühne Berlin, the Münchner Kammerspiele, the Tanzquartier Vienna and many more.

She likes to test her limits, which is how her vocation became her profession: she grew up in Finland "where there are only forests. And the sauna. There, as a child, I already tested how long I could stand 100 degrees.
