Conductor and singer

Hailing from Kyiv, Ukraine, Ihor is a highly motivated and proactive Master's student of Conducting at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz, having previously graduated from the Kyiv National Academy of Music (BA in Choral Conducting).

Ihor conducts the orchestra Grazer BläserVielharmoniE, is chief editor and publisher of the first two books of the planned five-volume collection ‘Sacred Music of the Executed Resurrection’ (works by P. Kozytskyi and S. Chavdarov, 2020) and an enthusiastic researcher of Ukrainian sacred and secular music of the Baroque period and the early 20th century.

He founded the Ensemble Musikia in Ukraine in 2018 and has toured with them to France, as well as performing in Graz and Sweden. In Graz, he works as an assistant conductor and conductor at the KUG, as well as a répétiteur. In the production of Handel's 'Giulio Cesare' at the KUG, he is assistant conductor under the direction of Stefan Gottfried.
