When ballet dancers flicker across the façade of the opera house, geometric colour codes appear above Graz Castle and comic strips appear on the snow-covered slopes of the Tyrol, Lia Räder, Volker Sernetz and Stefan Sobotka-Grünewald are setting new standards in the field of light and video art. From Klanglicht in Graz to the Light Art Festival in Finland, the Graz-based collective has been immersing individual buildings or entire stage sets in poetic projections for two decades.
