one of the world’s leading vocal ensembles

Stile Antico is one of the world’s leading vocal ensembles specialising in Renaissance music. Performing without a conductor, the twelve singers captivate audiences worldwide with their vibrant, expressive and deeply moving interpretations. The ensemble has received numerous major awards, including the Gramophone Award for Early Music, the Diapason d’or de l’année, the Edison Klassiek Award and the Preis der deutschen Schallplattenkritik, and has been nominated for three Grammy® Awards.

Stile Antico appears regularly at the world’s most prestigious concert halls – among them Wigmore Hall, the BBC Proms, the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, the Cité de la Musique, the Philharmonie Luxembourg and the Leipzig Gewandhaus – as well as at leading festivals across Europe and North America. Since its debut at the Boston Early Music Festival, the ensemble has toured extensively in the United States and Canada; further tours have taken it to Latin America and Asia.

The ensemble’s distinctive musical quality grows from its collaborative approach, rehearsing and performing as chamber musicians with every member contributing artistically. With innovative programming, thematic concert dramaturgies and new commissions, Stile Antico continually brings fresh perspectives to Renaissance repertoire. Alongside its busy concert schedule, the ensemble is deeply committed to education and nurturing young talent, and is a member of the REMA European early music network.

In 2025, Stile Antico celebrates its twentieth anniversary as a professional ensemble with gala concerts and a new album honouring the 500th anniversary of Palestrina’s birth.
