About the Ensemble
Chamber Music with a Special Line-up and Soul
The chamber ensemble Trianima comprises three musicians who met in Vienna: Isabel Goller (harp), Johanna Gossner (clarinet) and Marilies Guschlbauer (cello).
With their unusual combination of clarinet, harp and cello, the three musicians are dedicated to bringing new and exciting repertoire to the chamber music stage. Johanna Gossner, the ensemble’s clarinettist, contributes significantly to Trianima’s distinctive sound through her own arrangements. She adapts works for this unique instrumentation, creating a repertoire that gives the ensemble its unmistakable identity.
The name Trianima reflects the essence of the ensemble. It combines the musical expression con anima, meaning “with soul”, with tri, referring to the three musicians. The name is a fitting symbol of the trio’s passionate and soulful music-making, through which they seek to move and deeply touch their audiences.
