Werner Haindl

Born in Graz in 1948, Werner Haindl was trained as an actor in his hometown before proving his talent in numerous engagements on German theatre stages as well as in film and television.

Stage, film and television

Austrian actor Werner Haindl completed his acting training at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz. Engagements took him to well-known German theaters in Nuremberg, Munich and Baden-Baden.

Since 1995, Werner Haindl has also worked for film and television, playing the role of Grandpa Karl Meister in the television series "Liebe, Babys und ein großes Herz" (Love, Babies and a Big Heart) and taking on the guest role of Karl Strobl in the ARD telenovela "Sturm der Liebe" in May 2009. He has been known to a wider audience since 2016 as Hajo Segert from the telenovela "Rote Rosen". He has also appeared in TV productions such as Tatort and SOKO 5113.
