Styriarte SESSIONS # 4
What happens inside our bodies when we sing? We vibrate! Light, sound, cells - physics tells us that our whole world is made up of vibrations. This means that 50,000 billion body cells are constantly in motion, seeking nothing more than harmony.
We are looking for:
We are looking for four young a cappella ensembles from the fields of jazz, pop, world music or classical music who are at the beginning of a professional career.
Polyphonic and powerful voices? Are you a vocal group with a minimum of three and a maximum of 16 singers setting new standards for the most original of instruments? Singing, snapping, humming or belting - if you perform harmonies, melodies and rhythms individually, innovatively and at the highest technical level, we will put you in front of the curtain.

Are you in the starting blocks and hungry for live experience? In addition to a professionally organised performance in front of an audience and attractive prize money, we offer you the opportunity to network with other artists, exposure at an internationally renowned festival and a creative platform for your talents!
If you are one of the four finalists, the stage of the Helmut List Hall in Graz will be yours for an evening. Show us your vocal power in a 20-minute performance! The audience and a selected jury of experts will vote live and everyone will go home with prize money!
Each of the 4 final groups will receive prize money:
First place: EUR 2,500
Second place: EUR 2,000
Third place: EUR 1,500
Fourth place: EUR 1,000
The prize money is provided by Raiffeisen Kulturförderung.

The deadline for applications is April 7.
A jury of experts will select the four best ensembles from all submissions to compete live in the final competition in the Helmut List Halle on July 17.
