An evening of passion

In his charming concerto La Pastorella, Antonio Vivaldi portrayed a young shepherdess who is far less innocent than she seems to be. Dorothee Oberlinger, Germany’s most renowned recorder “virtuosa” knows the piece by heart. It is at the core of her program about beautiful women in precarious situations, a program which includes some of the most difficult recorder pieces ever written. This program was especially designed for the picturesque setting of the Schlossberg, the old fortress on a steep rock in the very heart of Graz.

The performance lasts 60-70 minutes without an interval.
