This woman risks everything to save her husband’s life: Leonore, alias Fidelio, thwarts inhumanity by freeing Florestan from the dark dungeon of tyranny. The heroic language of Beethoven’s only opera comes over just as well in the arrangement for “Harmoniemusik” brought to us by Bernardini and his wind players. When the minister’s fanfare eventually announces Florestan’s deliverance, the Styriarte audience can move out into the park to enjoy a summer picnic.

Enjoy your picnic in the palace park after the concert part at Planetensaal.
Vouchers for your picnic box (EUR 16) can be purchased in our WebShop (for 11 am / for 5 pm) or directly at the Styriarte ticket office no later than 2 days before the event.
The voucher can be redeemed on the day of the event directly at the distribution station on the picnic lawn in Schloss Eggenberg.
