A journey through the universe
Ensemble infiammabile explores the universe with recorders, Baroque guitar and Baroque cello – from planet to planet, on to the sun and the moon as far as the smallest stars. Composer Michael Stark elegantly combines Renaissance and Baroque melodies with contemporary sounds – infinitely remote, deep black and full of surprises! A Wiener Konzerthaus & Jeunesse Wien production staged by Christoph Steiner, the Styriarte “kids’ captain”.
With a sweet sound and burning passion, the young quartet explores early music and embeds it in modern elements and a cultural-historical context. The four musicians received their training at the Anton Bruckner Private University in Linz and have since presented their - often very young - audiences with elegance, liveliness and cheerfulness in a variety of projects.

With the Graz-based collective Das Planetenparty Prinzip, she has been realising plays on controversial issues of our time since 2015.
As an actor, author, singer and Austrian poetry slam champion, Graz-born Christoph Steiner is at home on many stages and is a convincing musical performer at Graz Opera, a permanent member of the ensemble at Next Liberty and captain of the children's room at Styriarte.
