In the wake of her dreamy ballads, Miriam Andersén mit verwehten Haaren Miriam Andersén and her ensemble create mystical soundscapes of the wild creatures of the North.

Content

northern myths

A Swedish bear dance, a ballad about the lindworm, a Scottish ballad about two ravens and more stories about werewolves, water horses and other wild creatures.

As Harry Potter fans know, animals play an active role in the great conflict between good and evil. Be it werewolf or swan, lindworm or wild horse, raven or bear – there is no clear distinction between being a predator and being a friend to man.  The northern myths are particularly rich in such creatures, providing the inspiration for Miriam Andersén’s beautiful animal programme.
