Lilli Hartmann

The opulence and playfulness of her sets never cease to amaze: Lilli Hartmann plays a decisive role in shaping the look of the Styriarte. The versatile artist from Rosenheim in Bavaria studied in London and worked for a long time in Madrid, outside the theatres she is also represented internationally with exhibitions and short films.

EXPERTIN FÜR AUGENSCHMÄUSE

Born in Rosenheim (Germany), the artist completed her master's degree at London's Royal College of Art and received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Chelsea College of Art in London. Her installations and performances have been shown internationally in group and solo exhibitions, including Murmansk Art Museum, Castlefield Gallery Manchester, Flaggfabrikken Kunsthall Bergen, Beaconsfield London, CA2M Móstoles and Neue Froth Kunsthalle in Brighton.

Her videos have been used in the following film festivals: BFI Film Festival London, LLFF Film Festival in Canada and NIO Video Festival in Pereira, Colombia. Lilli Hartmann worked and lived in Madrid for ten years, where she designed and directed several plays, such as "Momo" at the Conde Duque Cultural Centre and "The Last Assembly" at the Real Escuela Superior de Arte Dramático de Madrid. Today, she has moved back to Bavaria.
