Many years of performing concerts have taken the Italian flutist to renowned venues throughout Europe. She is also a close friend of the Styriarte: she plays with the Styriarte Festival Orchestra, with Recreation – Das Orchester and on the transverse flute with the Recreation baroque ensemble.

Maria Beatrice Cantelli from Bologna grew up in Brixen/South Tyrol and has lived in Graz since 2011. The married mother of Paul and Emil is active throughout Europe as a solo flutist and the founder and manager of klassikwunsch.at.
She began her musical career at the age of 16, studying at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, which she completed in 2009 with distinction and the Würdigungspreis of the Austrian Ministry of Culture. Her many years of concert activity (Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra and Mahler Chamber Orchestra, Graz Philharmonic Orchestra or Camerata Salzburg) have taken her to renowned houses in Austria and throughout Europe. Today she sets the tone for the Styriarte Festival Orchestra, Recreation - Das Orchester and the Bolzano String Academy.
Since 2008 Maria Beatrice has also studied historical performance practice and learned to play the transverse flute, which she now plays with the Recreation baroque ensemble and Musica Coeli.
