Dreigesang Zwoadreivier

Clearly ambiguous! True to this motto, the female vocal trio from Graz takes on local folk music and presents old as well as long-forgotten songs in a particularly fresh and cheerful way.

On the trail of old songs

The three-voice choir Zwoadreivier from Graz has been dedicated to local folk music for years. Eva Maria Hois, a folk music researcher from western Styria, Rosemarie Krainz, a former teacher born in Vienna, and Elisabeth Glavic, a teacher from Graz, sing mainly cheerful, cheeky and often clearly ambiguous songs with great enthusiasm.

Zwoadreivier not only takes its songs from older singers, but also tracks them down in archives as well as forgotten publications and makes them accessible to the audience again.
