A song recital with banda and screening

In der Mitte: Florian Boesch, gefeierter Stimm-Charakterkopf mit Wiener Kindheit. Um ihn herum: die Musicbanda Franui, die den Liedern von Schubert und Schumann mit Hackbrett, Harfe, Zither, Kontrabass, Violine und Blasinstrumenten zu Leibe rückt. Der schwedische Künstler Jonas Dahlberg schafft für die Begegnung einen neuen Raum. Ein Standbild? Nach und nach bemerkt das Publikum, dass da etwas nicht stimmen kann. Leichte Verschiebungen zuerst, Eintrübungen, unmerkliche Veränderungen. Der Raum, tausendfach gesehen, schmilzt, löst sich auf, verschwindet.

His recordings have been acclaimed by the international press and have received numerous awards; "Die schöne Müllerin", for example, was nominated for a Grammy in the Best Classical Vocal Solo category in 2015.

Musicbanda

The East Tyrolean Musicbanda has been performing since 1993 and has been a guest at the most renowned festivals and concert halls ever since. The ensemble sees itself as a "bridge between classical music, folk music, jazz and contemporary chamber music". Sometimes the classical model is celebrated in all its beauty, sometimes it is turned on its head.

Jonas Dahlberg

Screening

Jonas Dahlberg lives in Stockholm and is a professor at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts there. He has represented Sweden at the Sao Paulo Biennial and has participated in biennials all over the world. He is known in particular for his video works. Numerous lectures at renowned institutions complement his practical work.
