a danger of kitsch in Stefaniensaal?
All hearts in the concert hall beat a little faster at the first notes of Edvard Grieg’s Morning Mood. Hardly any other work of the classical period gained as much popularity as the Norwegian Romantic’s two Peer Gynt suites. Is there a danger of kitsch in Stefaniensaal? Fortunately, David Orlowsky is joining us to play his klezmer clarinet concerto. Lena-Lisa Wüstendörfer from Zurich conducts the evening’s programme with great passion.
