What does courage actually mean?

In their new programme “Courage”, Marie Spaemann und Christian Bakanic look to real people for courage and inspiration. They tell the story of a young Ukranian mother fleeing her country, and find inspiration for improvisation in the socially critical texts of Zadie Smith. Besides their own compositions, they focus on the music of Astor Piazzolla, who reinvented the tango despite very strong opposition in his homeland Argentina.
