Those born in beautiful Graz in sunny August perhaps carry the zest for life deeper within them than their contemporaries. Robert Stolz’s birthplace in Schmiedgasse still bears witness to the roots of this very special son of Graz. In Vienna he became heir to the golden age of operetta, in America the star of gigantic “Austria shows”. High time we showcased the creator of immortal melodies at his very best, as a genius of entertainment art in the truest sense. And who are the very ones for the job if not Eddie Luis & die Gnadenlosen?
