A Nature Experience Like No Other

Wilde Sagen ranken sich um den Grazer Hausberg, den Schöckl, aber am letzten Styriartetag geht es um etwas anderes: Um ein Naturerlebnis der Sonderklasse, um einen Sonnenaufgang am Schöcklplateau in über 1400 Metern Seehöhe, zu einem Kunsterlebnis mit Naturtönen geformt von der steirischen Komponistin Maria Gstättner. Einmal im Leben kann man so etwas erfahren, und wer dabei sein will, hat nichts weiter zu tun als früh aufzustehn. Um 3 Uhr Aufbruch in St. Radegund. Stirnlampen und gutes Schuhwerk vergrößern das Vergnügen.

Guided hike to the Schöckl. Departure from the valley station of the Schöckl cable car in St. Radegund at 03 am.

Musical welcome to the sunrise on the Schöckl East Plateau from 05 am with a new composition by Maria Gstättne.

Brass Quintet

Grazissimo Brass Quintett

The brass ensemble was formed at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz in 2014. Since then, the five Styrians have been working on a new brass sound that combines elements of New Orleans jazz, new folk music, and their own compositions. Since the release of their debut CD “neue Zeiten” (new times), the quintet has found an enthusiastic audience beyond the borders of their homeland.
