Content

klezmer sound

A story in five musical scenes with a klezmer sound by Moritz Weiß

The Styrian Klezmore Pocket Band evocatively recounts the journey south of little Yiddish birds in a dramatization by Moritz Weiß. Winter comes and it is cold. The birds of the east European shtetl have set off on their long journey: three to the east, three to the west, and the rest south, far from their wintery home. There will be many stories and exciting encounters on the way: adventures in a Macedonian hen house, moments of sensuality in the Near East, croaking frogs in Africa and much more.

Duration: around 70 minutes without intermission

Styrian Klezmore Pocket Band

Band

A Styrian band with an individual approach to music, with people who are anything but streamlined, with professional young artists who put not only their talents but also their personalities at the service of music. Klezmer and the Balkans - they are many things, but not a musical and cultural one-way street.
