Shows

Together with the Eine Gruppe von Musikern, darunter Kinder, spielt bei einem Styriarte-Konzert Geige und Cello vor Publikum. exceptionally musical Citoll family, we celebrate the arrival of spring - its vibrant colours, delightful scents, and the revival of nature - just as is customary in the Übelbach Valley.

Content

Not afraid to sing along

Invite the Citollers on stage and prepare for the most delightful memories, and be ready to join in too, for the Härtel family draws on a treasure trove of personal anecdotes. Following on from the clamorous driving out of winter are the songs about overcoming the winter months, the return of lush green hues, May, weddings, driving the cattle up to the Alpine pastures, and hunting. This is a big family and they sing and yodel in several different combinations. The “Schwegelpfeife” (fife), as always, makes its shrill appearance. What this ensemble most enjoys is a keen audience not afraid to simply sing along.

When the yodellers echo through the valley at the Styriarte and the folk dances bounce on the floor, the legendary Citoller are not far away. Nobody combines the hearty with the gallant, the wild with the tender more easily than the famous Härtel family music from the Übelbach valley north of Graz.
