Part two of the Attems saga:
A new beginning
Times are changing in Palais Attems: Empress Maria Theresia, whose visit everybody awaited in vain last year, wants to reform Austria and tax the aristocracy. This is bad news for Ignaz Maria Graf Attems and his sister Marianne, who, for the time being at least, feel obliged to let bygones be bygones and work together. To this end, they seek help from their influential uncle Franz von Attems, Canon at Vorau Abbey, and also spruce up their rather dilapidated mansion. And then the Attems proudly invite the citizens of Graz to view their residence. Maestro Amadeus Höll and his Palais Attems Court Orchestra provide lively music by Antonio Vivaldi and Joseph Haydn.
