A musical journey (of discovery)

Do you hear that? Me neither! The city has gone completely quiet. The birds are still twittering in the trees, the tram jingles its way along Sackstrasse and next door an alarm clock goes off – but all that happens completely silently!  Where have all the sounds gone?! Has somebody hidden them? And if so, how do we get them back? Together we set off in search of the melodies of our everyday life. Is there something like a car concert? How many sounds does it take to change a light bulb? And what does a “good” sound actually consist of?

Christoph Steiner, the Styriarte’s “kids’ captain”, sets off on a journey of discovery with the musicians of the Schwundi-Gang.

Ideal for young people between the ages of 3 and 6.

Duration of the performance: about 45 minutes without intermission

Price: EUR 15 (children) / 25 (adults)
