Slogan: Experience singing!

As a double Olympic choir champion (in South Africa and South Korea) and winner of Olympic medals at the World Choir Games on all continents, the HIB.art.chor has achieved a top position in the international choir scene over the past decades.

37 celebrated international concert tours in 29 different countries are further proof of this. In addition, the choir has received 10 top ratings of "excellent" and has been sent to all Austrian national youth choir competitions since 1998, as well as being a finalist in the "Großen Chance der Chöre" and winner of "Österreich singt".

Based at the BG HIB-Liebenau, the singers are trained with modern and high quality choral pedagogy by their choir director Maria Fürntratt, who has been awarded the "Pedagogical Panther - Main Prize", the "Antoni Martorell Prize", the "Steirischen Landeswappen" and much more. All this without membership fees, without auditions, but with enormous enthusiasm for singing.

The young voices around Maria Fürntratt can be heard with a variety of works: from early music (e.g. John Blow's Venus and Adonis) to large choral orchestral works (e.g. The Book of Seven Seals), from stage works (musicals: Mamma Mia ... operettas: The Bird Seller ... operas: Beethoven's Fidelio ...) to world premieres (numerous works by Lorenz Maierhofer, Herwig Reiter ...), at festivals such as Styriarte, Wiener Festwochen, Psalm ...
