Peter Rabanser
The Innsbruck native has specialised in Eastern European, Turkish and Arabic plucked and reed instruments and is intensively involved with European and Mediterranean musical traditions. International concert activity has taken the co-founder of the Oni Wytars ensemble across Europe, as far as Canada and the Far East.

Peter Rabanser was born in Innsbruck. After his musical studies in classical guitar, he focussed on Eastern European, Turkish and Arabic plucked and reed instruments and was intensively involved in the exploration of European and Mediterranean musical traditions. In 1983, he founded the ensemble Oni Wytars with Marco Ambrosini; since then, an international concert schedule has taken him throughout Europe, the Far East and Canada.
