New Year’s Eve Concert

What better way to bid farewell to 2026 than with a grand orchestra, a brilliant young conductor, and a sparkling programme in triple time? That is exactly what Styriarte is bringing to Graz for New Year’s Eve 2026 for the very first time. The magnificent Stefaniensaal provides the festive setting, while the Graz-based orchestra Recreation brings esprit and high spirits to the stage. Young British star Alma Deutscher, freshly emerged from her international child-prodigy career, takes the podium and also contributes some of her own works. Beyond that, she immerses herself in the wondrous world of waltzes, from Johann Strauss to Richard Strauss, from Rossini to Graz-born superstar Robert Stolz — not forgetting Florence Price and Alma Deutscher herself. Storyteller Christiane Willms guides the audience through the evening.
