Ensemble Oni Wytars

Ensemble

Shimmering, dancing and unbelievably lively, the cultures grow together when this excellent ensemble, formed around Marco Ambrosini, Katharina Dustmann, Peter Rabanser, Michael Posch and Riccardo Delfino, celebrates the sounds of the Mediterranean. The elaborate celebrates a marriage with the popular, just as the Orient celebrates a marriage with the Occident.

Marco Ambrosini

Nyckelharpa

The violinist, violist and composer from Forlì, Italy, is considered a leading virtuoso on the Swedish key fiddle, called nyckelharpa. In addition to award-winning excursions into the world of jazz, his stylistic home is in Early Music, which he explores as a member of the most renowned ensembles (including Oni Wytars since 1983).

Michael Dangl

Schauspieler

Vocalforum Graz

Chor

The voices of the Graz Chamber Choir shine clearly. Since its founding in 1986, the choir has not only enriched the local musical life, but has also celebrated guest performances near and far abroad. The musical focus is on the one hand on the early baroque, and on the other hand on the immediate present with numerous premieres and first performances.

Franz M. Herzog

Choir director

The Austrian conductor, composer and lecturer for choral conducting and choral voice training has already achieved numerous international successes. For his artistic direction of the "Voices of Spirit" festival, for example, he received the appreciation award of the Federal Ministry of Science and Research. In 2011 he founded the Gospel & Jazz Choir at the Johann-Joseph-Fux Conservatory in Graz, where he is currently the director of the choral conducting course.

Content

Styrian monks were obviously experts in producing and drinking wine.

In the famous medieval codex Carmina burana they are named first, before the Bavarians and the Austrians. Marco Ambrosini and his early music ensemble Oni Wytars have chosen the bawdiest drinking songs from that famous codex. Actor Michael Dangl reads poems by Josef Weinheber and Vocalforum Graz wallows in boozy choruses.
