Content
Styrian monks were obviously experts in producing and drinking wine.
In the famous medieval codex Carmina burana they are named first, before the Bavarians and the Austrians. Marco Ambrosini and his early music ensemble Oni Wytars have chosen the bawdiest drinking songs from that famous codex. Actor Michael Dangl reads poems by Josef Weinheber and Vocalforum Graz wallows in boozy choruses.
