About the Gang
Music banda in the children's room
They fill our children's room with fantastic melodies. Every story lives from its soundtrack and in the Styriarte children's room our 'gang' takes care of the music.
Since the 2024/25 season, the orchestra and its captain Christoph Steiner have been whisking us away into the incredible world of music. The virtuoso gang consists of musicians from the ranks of the Recreation orchestra and young colleagues from the Styriarte Youth Orchestra, the successful youth orchestra project of the Styriarte.
Since each children's room project tells a very special, individual story, the gang also changes according to the scenic challenge: for example, it becomes the Wolf Gang for "Peter und der Wolf", the Snow Gang for "Es ging ein Schneemann durch das Land" and the Schwundi Gang for "Verschwundibus".
Together with our young and young-at-heart audience, the gang travels with the kid's captain to the most exciting chapters of music history. Ahoy!
